Birth Doula Labour Support
First consultations are free! It is important to connect with and trust the person who will be sharing such an important time with your family. If I am not the right fit for your family, I will gladly refer you on to other Doulas in the area.
Birth Doula services include:
- In-person chat and practice sessions before the due date to provide information, answer questions, discuss family preferences, comfort measures for labour, and help the family prepare (typically lasting 1.5-2 hours)
- On call 24/7 for support 2 weeks prior to due date
- Full emotional and physical support during labour and delivery - once it is determined you are in labour I am at your side until the baby is born
- Assistance with bonding and breastfeeding within the first few hours as required
- Postnatal visits and calls to check in
